Admission Requirements


  • Admission Requirements

    1.) BA degree in the humanities (including political science, the social sciences, law, communications, media, journalism)

    - please note:  A history minor in the BA (60 ECTS credits) increases your chances of being accepted into the programme

    - The final grade of the BA and the language certificates are essential for a successful application (you can find the previous numerus clausus/GPA listings here)

     

    2.) Knowledge of 3 languages:

  • 1. English C1 here
  • 2. German B2: More Info on UNi-Assist: Here in German und here in English
  • Goethe Zertifikat, Sprachenzentrum HU and state accredited Language schools, etc.
  • 3. Another modern European language A2 --> each official European language will be accepted
  • for example: certificate from a language school/test at the "Sprachenzentrum" of the HU/Native speaker or at least 10 CP at a German University in German courses, etc.
