Outgoing Students
The Erasmus programme at a glance
Participating in Erasmus+ offers you the following advantages:
- Financial support (Erasmus scholarship) for your semester abroad
→ Funding periods: min. 3 to max. 12 months per study cycle (BA, MA, PhD)
- Exemption from tuition, registration, examination, laboratory, and library fees at the partner university
- Support in organising a study visit to one of our partner universities through the Erasmus Office
- Academic acknowledgement of academic achievements abroad by the Erasmus coordinator of the IfG
If you are interested in a study visit outside the EU and do not want to forego financial support from the Erasmus programme, you can apply to the International Office for a study visit to an Erasmus partner country (Erasmus Worldwide).
Not only study visits, but also internships abroad can be financially supported via Erasmus+. If you are interested in an internship funded by Erasmus+, please contact the HU International Office at erasmus.smp@hu-berlin.de.
⇒ General information for German HU students interested in Erasmus can be found in the Erasmus Handbook for Outgoing Students and on the web pages of the International Office.
